Reagents for Sanger sequencing

Our Gerbera product line offers cost-effective alternatives to proven Sanger sequencing reagents including Gerbera Sequencing Kit, a direct replacement for the BigDye^® Terminator Kit, and Gerbera-7 Polymer, a direct replacement for POP-7^TM. Both Gerbera Sequencing kit and Gerbera-7 Polymer provide the same high quality results without changes in protocol, setup, spectral calibration or dye set.

Gerbera Sequencing kit v3.1

Compatible with all ABI Genetic Analyzers

• Direct substitute for BigDye^® Terminator v3.1
• No changes to workflow, protocols, calibration or settings, developed for use with Dye Set Z
• Uniform peak heights with extremely low background, long sequence reads with high confidence scores
• Results that are identical to BigDye^® Terminator v3.1

Gerbera Sequencing kit v3.1 contents:

• 2.5x cycle sequencing mix, 5x Sequencing Buffer
• 125, 250, 500 and 1000 reaction packages

Gerbera-7 Polymer

Compatible with all ABI Genetic Analyzers

• Preformulated separation matrix for capillary electrophoresis optimized for short- to long-read sequencing and fragment analysis
• Easy to start with – you can use the current spectral calibrations

• Gerbera-7 Polymer dynamically coats the capillary wall to control electro-osmotic flow.
