Special sequencing protocol for hairpins, GC-rich and other problematic templates. The price includes sequencing from both directions.

This is a special sequencing protocol for sequencing problematic templates where the sequencing reaction can stop abruptly, typically due to the presence of some secondary structures and a sharp drop in signal may occur. Bidirectional sequencing is included in this service. You send us a template that is ready for sequencing (purified).

You supply:

  • PCR product or plasmid.
  • This service includes bidirectional sequencing, hence  each template must be supplied in two tubes mixed together with the sequencing primer (F or R).
  • If you wish to use our universal primers, you supply the template only.

We perform:

  • Two sequencing reactions using special chemistry
  • Capillary electrophoresis of sequencing reaction products
  • Manual data analysis

  • Typically up to 24 hours (working days) from the moment we receive your samples.

  • Length of read up to 1100 bp, data accuracy typically > 99 %
  • Universal primers provided free of charge

  • Automatic email message as soon as your results are ready to download

The evaluation of the results obtained by the HairpinSeq protocol is performed manually by our specialists! Each sample file is checked before sending and re-analyzed as needed to get the most out of it for you.
