Windows XP are no longer supported by Microsoft. This means your IT department may disconnect your computer from the network and in worst case they may tell you to get rid of this computer since Windows XP can no longer be considered safe these days, especially when connected to the network. Without upgrading this inevitably leads to shortening the lifetime of your sequencer, and this is a pity. Upgrading your sequencer gives you an extended lifetime, we estimate at least 5 more years.
